Nici Ward is a Certified Residential Appraiser who has worked as a personal assistant/typist to Bruce E Dorris assisting in data collection and typing appraisals for over 20 years and became a Certified Appraiser in 2016.
With over 66 years of combined appraisal experience in West Tennessee, Dorris Appraisals possesses unparalleled real estate appraisal knowledge.
All appraisers were professionally trained under founder Bruce Dorris, and we don’t believe anyone offers more appraisal experience. We strive to provide the highest quality appraisal and valuation services, and we offer a wide range of products including traditional appraisals, desktop products, private individual appraisals, exterior only appraisals, and valuations.
We specialize in residential property including proposed and new construction, relocation appraisal, waterfront property, investment property, foreclosure property, 2-4 family property, high-end property, hobby farms, and land.

We service most of rural West Tennessee, specific primary counties are Madison, Gibson, Crockett, Chester, Carroll, Dyer, Henderson, Haywood, Lauderdale. Secondary counties that we will service for additional fees are McNairy, Weakley, Obion, Hardin, and Hardeman. We are members of all local MLS services for all the counties we service both primary and secondary counties.
Appraisal prices and turn times may vary due to size, acreage, and location. All appraisal fees are paid at the time of inspection or before.
